High Speed Braces by Cfast
Cfast Patient Cara Tells You About Her Straight Teeth Alignment
By Dr Mark Skimming Of Dentistry On The Square In Glasgow
"Cfast Straight Teeth Patient Cara"
Okay Cara, if you want to just tell
us how your experience was at Dentistry on the Square.
It has been
fantastic from start to finish. Everyone’s just been so friendly and helpful
and it’s really helped make the process so much easier for me.
And throughout your treatment did you
feel any pain?
Not pain as
such when getting the treatment. When I
was getting the braces it was perhaps a wee bit tender for the first week, but
that goes away near enough after a week of having them on so it was just after
that, everything was all right, no pain.
Fab! Would you recommend having treatment done at
dentistry on the square?
Yep. I have
already recommended to a few people since I have started coming here, already.
There’s been a few people that have taken up my sales pitch as well because I
would recommend it to anyone.
That’s lovely Cara, thank you. What
do feel about Dentistry on the Square that makes us different from other dental
practices?
I think that
just everyone is so nice and helpful and it really makes you feel at ease. I used to hate going to the dentist and
having the braces on and I have been coming near enough once every four weeks
and don’t mind coming at all. I am not
worried about it or stressed out about it at all, so it has been really nice.
That’s lovely. How’s your treatment at Dentistry on the
Square changed your life because you had quite a big life changing moment as
well didn’t you?!
It’s been
amazing and I always think it sounds quite daft when you say getting your teeth
right can be such a major thing but I had initially decided to get the
treatment just about four months before I got married. So the fact I was able
to smile on my wedding day and not worry about going through every single photo
saying which ones I liked and which ones I hated because of my teeth, it’s just
been such a change. Everyone’s noticed the fact that I don’t look so miserable
anymore!
And why did you originally choose
Dentistry on the Square?
It was
because of the different treatments that were offered here, so it was to see
which treatment for most the orthodontic work would suit me best.
Cfast Clear Braces
Cfast Straight Teeth Patient Carolyn Tells You About Her
High Speed Braces Treatment At Dentistry On The Square In Glasgow
"Cfast Patient Carolyn"
This is Carolyn Kerr one of our
lovely patients who has just had her High Speed Braces removed today and she’s
looking lovely. We are just going to
have a wee chat about how her treatment went.
So Carolyn, can you tell us just a bit about your experience at DOTS
was?
Absolutely
fantastic. From the moment that I met all the staff here at Dentistry on the
Square everybody was very, very helpful, down to earth about what would happen
through my treatment and just generally made me feel at ease about going ahead
with braces at age thirty two. So no hesitation with going ahead with them from
the moment that I met Elaine.
Did you feel any pain with them?
Not at all,
slight pressure but no pain. I thought that I would but to be honest with you
there was nothing at all so, no, just slight pressure.
Great. So would you recommend
Dentistry on the Square to your friends and family?
Absolutely. In fact I have a few names that I would
recommend happily just due to the service and the good value you receive and
basically the easy treatment. I would definitely recommend this place.
Good.
How do you think that Dentistry on the Square is different from other
dental practices?
I think it
has got a young friendly vibe which is good for me but I would like to think it
is really because you get good value for money, good service. When I come into Dentistry on the Square I
know everybody’s name and they know my name which does make a difference because
I did have a slight fear of dentists myself and could never actually go into
the dentist for years and years. I find
that the service is impeccable, friendly staff and it is good value for money,
so I am absolutely delighted.
Good. So how would you say having
your smile make over is going to impact your life?
I work with
the public and deal with a lot of fairly high profile figures and professional
figures and it something that has always held me back. I would find that being able to walk into a
room and smile confidently would ultimately change my life, without sounding
too cheesy. Just a confidence booster and indeed it’s fantastic. It has changed
my life, so thank you.
Great. You’ve been a great patient
and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon.

Cfast High Speed Braces
Straight Teeth Patient Gillian Talks To Our Smile Advisor About Her Recent
Cfast Braces Treatment at Dentistry on the Square in Glasgow.
"Cfast Patient Gillian"
So this is Gillian and she is just
out of her appointment with Mark and had her high speed braces fitted so we are
just going to ask a few questions and see how she got on today. So how long did
your appointment take Gillian?
About 25
minutes.
And during your appointment did you
feel any pain?
None at all.
I’m amazed. People have said before it is so to put braces on but
nothing, no pain whatsoever.
One of the questions we get asked
most is “is it going to affect my speech?” so you’re literally just out, so any
problems with speech at all?
No, none at
all. You’re conscious that you have something in your mouth but no problems
whatsoever.
Great! So you’re quite pleased and looking
forward...
I am
delighted!
Well we are going to catch up with
Gillian in a few weeks time. Thanks
Gillian

Laser Dental Implants - An Alternative To Using The Dentists Drill
Glasgow Laser Implants
Hi there, Its Mark at Dentistry on the Square.
I realise that there are many people out there that have fears or concerns about seeing the dentist. What I aim to do is identify with a patients fear and then help them to overcome that fear so they can have the dental treatment that they need, which is why our Laser fitted dental implants are so popular.
The Drill
Again one of the most common complains we hear from patients, particularly the noise of the drill, the vibrations created using certain hand pieces and it can illicit an uncomfortable sensation for the patients.
In the practice here we try and use the gentle laser as much as possible, although reasonably similar looking to the drill they don’t have that sensation of the vibration in the tooth, you don’t get the smells and because you are being introduced to something new they feel it is more advanced and are more comfortable with that.
The noise of the drill you tend to hear when you are walking through the hallway so we ensure that all doors are shut at all times if any of the hand pieces are being used. We try and make patients as comfortable as possible, we give them earphone, noise canceling earphones so that they don’t hear any of the noises.
We give them DVD goggles so again they are not looking they are not concentrating on the dentistry that is being carried out, but the movie or the TV show that is being played on the DVD.

TOWIE's Billie Faiers Gets CFast Clear Braces Fitted
Hi there, Its Mark Skimming from Dentistry on the Square here in Glasgow.
Over the weekend an article appeared in the Daily Mail. As a result, our phones went berserk.
The article was about Billie Faiers from TV's "Only Way Is Essex", and was discussing her fantastic new straight smile that she achieved by wearing CFast clear braces.
Discover Why 23-year-old ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star Billie Faiers opts for Virtually Invisible CFast Braces, “which will straighten her teeth within a matter of months” claims the Daily Mail.
The CFast Clear Braces system is one of the orthodontic treatments that I offer at the practice. The CFast system uses clear orthodontic braces along with tooth-coloured
wires. So you can comfortably wear the almost invisible braces without
the worry of people knowing that you are having orthodontic treatment .
The movement of your teeth is much more predicable when using CFast and as a result the treatment can actually be much faster than other systems. As the wires are only gently applying pressure to the braces to align
and straighten your teeth you will actually feel very little discomfort.
So you can have straight teeth like the celebrities.
I'd like to invite you for a ‘Complimentary Am I Suitable CFast Braces Audition’ usually £97, but now FREE all this month. And if you go ahead with CFast, there are also special offers for whitening too.

Teeth in Half a Day!
Hi there, it's Mark Skimming. As you know by now I'm a private dentist at Dentistry on the Square in Glasgow. We offer general and cosmetic dental treatments for you and your family, from dental implants and dentures, to clear braces for straight teeth.
Before I head off on holiday with my family I just wanted to tell you a little about our "Teeth in Half a Day" programme. That's right, it is possible to get "Teeth in Half a Day".
Let me tell you more...
This treatment is suitable for a number of people. If you have some or all your teeth missing, with a bit of planning at the start or the process, we can often put in dental implants and then place teeth on top of the implant all in on that morning or afternoon. That means that you can chew, you can smile and feel happy with your appearance later that day.
It really revolutionises dental implant dentistry and best of all, people seem to like it as well!
I often see patients that are experiencing problems with their dentures, because they are moving about in their mouth, or patients that have teeth that are wobbling and broken. All they want is to get their smile back. In this scenario a patient would typically be waiting three to six months for the entire treatment to be completed.
The great news is that now most of the preparation work and treatment can be carried out in just half a day because of the new state of the art equipment that we have at the practice. The result for you is that you can get back to your lives with the minimum of disruption and the dental implants will be making a massive difference to the quality of your life as well.
If you would like to know more about the dental implant treatments that we have available at Dentistry on the Square please go to DentalImplantsGlasgowGuide.com where you can request a FREE guide to Dental Implants in Glasgow and also a Complimentary Consultation where you can discuss the challenges that you have with your smile.
Here's to improving your smile,
Mark

Delivering Top Level Customer Service
I'm
Mark Skimming, I'm from Glasgow and I'm 30 years old. I'm a married, father of two. I have a two year old and a six month old and
I perform what we call, life transformational dentistry. This can be treatments
such as Dental Implants, Straight teeth and complete Smile Makeovers.
This was always the type of dentistry that I was interested in, even when I had just graduated from dental school. To perform this level of dentistry I need to obtain more advanced skills, so I went to Manchester and Leeds Universities to study further. When I qualified I was actually the youngest person in the UK to ever achieve this level of qualification.
The extra training taught me how to complete these advanced dental treatments which I now perform each and every day at my practice, Dentistry on the Square in Glasgow. If you want to continue to practice the most high tech dentistry, you need to keep up with the times. Keep training, keep learning, after all technology doesn't stand still and wait for you.
You need to make sure you maintain and improve yourself and also your practice. There is no point learning the latest skills if you don’t have the tools needed for the job. You have to continue to invest in yourself, your team and your practice to ensure that you don’t fall behind. Falling behind is something that we are not prepared to do here at Dentistry on the Square.
Striving
to be the best does not have to be limited to your dental skills and
treatments, like dental implants. You also have to make sure that you deliver top
levels of customer service as well.

“Recommend Dr Skimming And His Team To Everyone!
Everything very professional and well organised, I recommend this dentist to everyone. All personnel very kind and considered.
---Kennie from Glasgow
I
find that in dentistry in the UK there was a fair bit of gap in the kind of
quality of customer service that you'd be provided at a high end hotel, than
that you'd find in your general dental practice, and I wanted to bring the two together.
You need to understand that many patients can tend to be very nervous about coming to see the dentist but when they first arrive, if we can bring that high end customer service and make them feel welcome, make them feel comfortable, I know it would make their experience an awful lot easier. I’m happy to say we see that every day.
Until
next time

Next Level Dentistry Club
Introducing My Next Level Dentistry Club
Hello
there, for those of you that don’t know me, my name is Mark Skimming, and I’m
thirty years old and married. I love to stay
at home with my wife and two young kids, 6 months and 2 years old whenever I
can.
Each day I perform
these very complex and difficult treatments that a lot of other dentists may
find extremely complicated and feel slightly out of their depth. So what I have
decided to do is create my “Next Level Dentistry Club” so I’m there to lend a
helping hand to dentists that don’t have the time or skill set to perform these
more technical treatments. The help needed differs from dentist to dentist. It maybe
the writing of a dental treatment plan, or mentoring through the club, or in a
number of cases actually performing the treatment on their behalf.
Obviously there
is no point in learning new skills if you don’t have the state of the art equipment
to use them. So I have been revamping the practice as well as my own skills,
and recent purchases were include a Cerec, 3D scanner and a Waterlase Gentle
Laser.
"Me With The Cerac & Waterlase Gentle Laser" |
I’m always
striving to offer the highest quality service, not just to my patients, but to
my peers as well. I’ve started regular mentoring classes now, where other
dental professionals can come along to the practice for training and coaching,
improving their clinical skills without the need to travel far.
My aim is to
show them how to plan complex treatment plans involving dental implants for
example and how to deliver Dentistry Without Fear, so the patient is completely
at ease, fully informed and stress free.
I am now putting
together a regular monthly newsletter that is sent to all my peers. It contains
useful articles, my practice promises and treatment tip to help your patients.
Each month the tip varies. I’ve spoken about dental implants and laser
crown removal in recent months.
I’ll keep you
updated over the coming months of the progress of the “Next level Dentistry
Club” and any new training events we arrange.
Here’s to stress
free dentistry

Glasgow Dental Implants
Glasgow Dental Implants
Hi there, its Mark Skimming at Dentistry on the Square in Glasgow.
We see numerous patients every month enquiring about options to replace a full row of missing teeth with dental implants. What are the options, how much does it cost, will it be sore and how long will it take are the questions we always hear.
Dental implants in Glasgow can provide a number of options. Most commonly the options are removable dentures on locators or a bar, removable acrylic bridgework, all on 4 fixed bridgework and full arch fixed bridgework. To find out which you are suitable for you firstly need to a have full assessment where one of our dentist will discuss your options.
Costs can vary starting at around £5k for a removable denture on locators.
At Dentistry on the Square we use a soft and hard tissue laser to complete our treatment which results in around a 70% reduction in post operative swelling which also minimises discomfort. Any mild discomfort should otherwise be controlled with paracetamol or ibuprofen.
WIth our cutting edge technology and skills we can often provide teeth in a day options with all on 4 fixed bridgework or removable syncone bridges.
If dental implants is a treatment that you wish to find out more about why not give us a call on 0141 423 8877, or visit our website http://www.dentalimplantsglasgowguide.com/
